Mark Pasternak escaped Southern California and purchased the 65-acre Devil's Gulch Ranch in Nicasio, CA at the age of 19. He began, powered only by a windmill, with raising pigs. The farm, now utilizing solar power, produces rabbits, sheep, and a variety of poultry in addition to the pigs. The ranch also grows premium wine grapes for several local winemakers. Mark's family farm uses sustainable, humane, agricultural practices and offers educational programs to adults and kids throughout the year.
