Jim Modesitt here from Marin. I’m a self taught Chef with a 20 year back ground in Culinary school programs and elective studies on food here in San Francisco. That turned all my knowledge into a beautiful Professional Catering Company. I’m a father of 2 wonderful boys Domonic (13)and Roman (11) . I enjoy the art of creating a dish. I am a full time Catering /Private Chef.

Q1 - What’s one tool in the kitchen you wish you had and why?

My Favorite tool is the Mini blender ( of corse this may change in the future) and the reason is why ? ... it’s literally very helpful on blending sauces and incorporating herbs, oils and vegetables.

Q2 - What’s your biggest meal disaster?

Omg !! My biggest disaster.... cooking for Microsoft and Kelly Clark a few years back not having enough homemade BBQ sauce onsite for everyone.

Q3 - What’s one thing you would like to learn how to make?

I would love to learn how to make home made pasta from Italy.

Q4 - If there was one dish you would teach your kid to make, what would it be?

Dish to teach my kids is how to grill chicken correctly

Q5 - What does it mean to you as a dad to cook for your family?

Meaningful times in the kitchen or BBQ with you family is priceless !!
