Q1 - What’s one tool in the kitchen you wish you had and why?

The one tool I wish I had in the kitchen is a vacuum sealer to store special meats for later consumption.

Q2 - What’s your biggest meal disaster?

Biggest meal disaster is pretty funny. When completely hung over, I mistakenly used tuna instead of chicken in a pasta dish. How did I do that? Well the tuna was in a Tupperware container and it looked a lot like canned chicken at the time. I made the kids eat it. My wife stepped in and assured me it was tuna. It was that day, I received the dumb ass of the year award.

Q3 - What’s one thing you would like to learn how to make?

The one thing I would learn how to make? Well I would say, I would just love to learn how to smoke meats. I need to get a smoker first.

Q4 - If there was one dish you would teach your kid to make, what would it be?

I want my kids to be able to cook anything and have to capacity to be adventurous.

Q5 - What does it mean to you as a dad to cook for your family?

The best thing about cooking for the family are the reactions and the togetherness. It is one of the few times we are together and it is special.
