GREEK SALAD

The origin of the Greek Salad can be traced back to ancient Greece where the simple ingredients of the salad were staples of their everyday diets. Nowadays, you can find a Greek salad on just about every menu - but for a truly authentic experience, give this recipe a try!
INGREDIENTS
1 cup diced tomatoes
½ cup halved cherry tomatoes
1 cup chopped cucumber
½ a small red onion, diced
8-10 kalamata olives, halved
¼ cup chopped green pepper
10 capers (optional)
½ cup crumbled feta
Olive oil
Red wine vinegar
Salt
Oregano
Tools
Cutting board
Knife
Large bowl
Serving plater
DIRECTIONS:
- Combine the tomatoes, cucumber, onion, olives, green pepper, and capers in a large bowl.
- Drizzle with olive oil and red wine vinegar.
- Season to taste with salt and oregano.
- Toss until everything is well coated.
- Transfer to a serving platter and finish with the crumbled feta and a drizzle of olive oil.
