My wife Shannon and I are real estate developers in Cerritos, Mexico.
I have a son, Nico who will be 20 in January. He goes to college in Santa Barbara. Spends his vacant time with Shannon and I in Cerritos as well as with his mom who lives in Cabo. We are all a very close loving family. I miss him every second of every day.
Q1 - What’s one tool in the kitchen you wish you had?
I wish I had an Ice Ball maker for cocktails!
Q2 - What’s your biggest meal disaster?
I made a favorite of ours, chicken and broccoli, curry casserole. Took it from the oven and placed glass dish on cold granite counter. Of course it smashed into a million pieces and the meal was inedible.
Q3 - What’s one thing you would like to learn how to make?
I would love to learn how to make the perfect salt, crusted Arctic Char!
Q4 - If there was one dish you would teach your kid to make, what would it be?
I would teach Nico how to grill a perfect steak with rosemary potatoes and a garlic feta cheese salad dressing over fresh Romaine lettuce and plump mushrooms.
Q5 - What does it mean to you as a dad to cook for your family?
I love to see my family enjoy the meals and the looks on their faces makes it worth every second it takes to prepare the meals. Then they do the dishes!! lol
