Todd was Maui born and raised,Mom from NY. I'm a videographer and my wife is an artist, both self employed. We all enjoy the arts and love creating and viewing all types. As a young boy, my mom was quite ill and not always up for cooking so I started to experiment on my own. First with breakfast, then on to other types of foods. Never looked back
Q1 - What’s one tool in the kitchen you wish you had?
When I was growing up my mom had this tool to make French cut green beans. It was fun to do and I love the way they tasted. I’ve been looking for that tool for years and have not been able to find one anywhere.
Q2 - What’s your biggest meal disaster?
Hosted a small dinner party for 8 and grilling fresh fish, and ran out of propane. Finished in the oven and all ended ok.
Q3 - What’s one thing you would like to learn how to make?
So many things. Would love to perfect tempura
Q4 - If there was one dish you would teach your kid to make, what would it be?
Great question, probably a soup or stew. 1 pot using whatever ingredients they have to nourish and comfort them.
Q5 - What does it mean to you as a dad to cook for your family?
More than the cooking is the time we share around the dinner table as a family to break bread together
