Q1 - What’s one tool in the kitchen you wish you had and why?
I wish I had an automated Persian rice cooker that makes crispy rice at the bottom every time.
Q2 - What’s your biggest meal disaster?
One time I was cooking halibut on a pan in the barbecue and the mayonnaise and parmesan topping caught fire. I managed to scrape and scrap the mayo to save the fish below, and the dinner party luckily continued with no need to call the fire department!

Persian Saffron rice
Q4 - If there was one dish you would teach your kid to make, what would it be?
Chicken soup, served with crispy rice, that lasts all week.
