Combine all ingredients for the topping in a large bowl and mix until well combined. The dough will be thick and somewhat greasy (this is normal).
Combine the ingredients for the strawberry mixture in a large bowl and toss until the flour has dissolved.
Transfer the strawberry mixture to a 10" cast iron skillet or baking dish (8x8" or 9x9" works well).
Drop spoonfuls of the cobbler mixture over the strawberries and bake for 30-40 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the strawberries are bubbling.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, optional but highly recommended!
