MAPLE BOURBON SOUR

A refreshing cocktail that's sweetened naturally with maple syrup. Perfect for summertime sipping! Cheers!

INGREDIENTS:

2 oz bourbon
1 egg white (optional)
1 oz lemon juice, orange juice, or a combination of both
¾ oz maple syrup
Ice
Cherry and orange slice, for garnish

Tools 
Cocktail shaker
Cutting board 
Knife

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Add the bourbon and egg white to a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds, until the egg white is very frothy. (If omitting the egg white, you can skip this step.)
  2. Add the lemon/orange juice, maple syrup, and a handful of ice to the shaker and shake for a few seconds to combine.
  3. Strain into a lowball glass with ice. Garnish with a cherry and orange slice.
