Macadamia Rice | Dads That Cook
By Jason Glover
Macadamia rice is rice pilaf that's been taken to the next level! The macadamia nuts add crunch and a rich, toasted flavor. This side goes great with barbecued meats!

Combine the rices, water, and stock in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 25 minutes.
When the rice is done cooking, heat the olive oil in a large pan and sauté the green onion and garlic until softened.
Add the macadamia nuts and continue sautéing until golden and fragrant.
Add the cooked rice to the pan, mix well, and remove from heat.
Serve alongside my recipe for Polynesian Smoked Short Ribs or your favorite entrée!
