Bison Lamb Meatloaf

Bison Lamb Meatloaf

You thought Moms meat loaf was good…

I was doing a little experiment one day and decided to combine these two meats together. Wasn’t sure what was going to happen but I made it anyway! I gave some to a few friends and now they want me to make it for them all the time… Yeah babe!!!!

Another great one for leftovers!

Cooking and Prep time about 1 hour…

  • 1 lb ground Bison
  • 1 lb ground Lamb
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ cup Bread Crumbs (Progresso Italian Style)
  • 2 Tbls cracked pepper
  • 1/8 cup Italian Seasoning
  • 2 Tbls Kosher Salt
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves chopped Garlic
  • 2 tbls worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup Brown sugar
  • 4 Bacon Strips (put aside for later don’t mix)

Preheat oven to 365*

Combine all the ingredients in one large bowl and mix together with your hands until everything is evenly distributed.

Put all of the meat mixture into a meatloaf pan and evenly distribute it. Now take your 4 bacon strips and place them on top evenly.

Put the meatloaf in the oven for 45 minutes… Done!

Add some potatoes and your favorite vegetable… Holy Moly!
