You thought Moms meat loaf was good…
I was doing a little experiment one day and decided to combine these two meats together. Wasn’t sure what was going to happen but I made it anyway! I gave some to a few friends and now they want me to make it for them all the time… Yeah babe!!!!
Another great one for leftovers!
Cooking and Prep time about 1 hour…
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground Bison
- 1 lb ground Lamb
- 1 Egg
- ½ cup Bread Crumbs (Progresso Italian Style)
- 2 Tbls cracked pepper
- 1/8 cup Italian Seasoning
- 2 Tbls Kosher Salt
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves chopped Garlic
- 2 tbls worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup Brown sugar
- 4 Bacon Strips (put aside for later don’t mix)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 365*
Combine all the ingredients in one large bowl and mix together with your hands until everything is evenly distributed.
Put all of the meat mixture into a meatloaf pan and evenly distribute it. Now take your 4 bacon strips and place them on top evenly.
Put the meatloaf in the oven for 45 minutes… Done!
Add some potatoes and your favorite vegetable… Holy Moly!
